Our community residents live in a secure environment specifically designed to help them live life to the fullest.
Our caring staff provides personalized attention to each of our residents to ensure that their specific needs are met. Comfortable routines and cues, planned activities and social events encourage each resident to take an active part in our community. Residents live in private suites, and respite care is also available for short-term stays. Most importantly, all of our residents are always treated with dignity and respect.

Leisure Lounge
The Leisure Lounge is a focal point for social activities in Whispering Knoll's community. Our residents gather here to interact with each other and take part in scheduled recreational programs. These include relaxation therapy, poetry, trivia, movies, "Piano Hour," music appreciation, harp therapy, creative writing and reminiscent videos and programs. Physical fitness programs include exercise, basketball, ring and ball toss, and golf. Cocktail hours and socials are also held in the Leisure Lounge.
Gathering Room
Community residents meet in the Gathering Room to play word games and listen to music favorites on our classic Crosley record player.
Dining Room
Mealtime in our community is a pleasant time to enjoy delicious, nutritious food served in our attractive, comfortable Dining Room. Residents are seated according to their preferences at three meals each day. Each table is beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and numbered so that residents can easily and consistently identify their places. Between scheduled meals, the Dining Room hosts recreational programs in baking, cooking, crafts and entertainment.
Courtyard
Residents in our community are encouraged to enjoy the outdoors in our secure courtyard. An array of comfortable seating (including wicker chairs and rockers, a two-seater swing and park benches) provides the perfect setting for socializing and special events and programs in good weather. Recreational activities held in the courtyard include gardening, the "Morning News" program, exercise and sports. The courtyard is also the perfect setting for residents to entertain their families at our regularly scheduled barbecues and "Family Nights."
Transportation/Outings
Residents of our community enjoy scheduled outings twice a week, accompanied by a driver and aide. Some of our most popular trips include lunch outings, scenic drives and daytrips to local attractions and events.
Other Benefits
Our community residents also enjoy the best of Whispering Knoll's main assisted living building, from bowling in the Exercise Room and gardening and crafts in the Arts & Crafts Solarium to cocktail hours and scheduled entertainment in the Main Lobby. Residents are also accompanied by aides for daily morning strolls throughout the building, followed by "Morning News" programs in the Assisted Living Social Lounges and Library.
